FAQ

I have uploaded my own data from a local source into cytomarker for analysis. What happens when I close my session?

The public instance of cytomarker runs on a shinyapps.io server that hosts instances of the application in a virtual environment for each user. The server uses temporary storage to store user uploads during the session, and these files are deleted/removed once the user exists a session (i.e. closes the browser window, or allows the session to become idle through inactivity). This means that any data uploaded in one session will not be recovered from cytomarker in a new session, as there is no persistent storage in cytomarker for user uploads. Support for persistant user uploads may be added in the future.
